Dr. Ghai grew up in Thompson, Manitoba. He obtained his Bachelor of Science at the University of Manitoba. He then moved to Boston to attend Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD).

To further expand his clinical skills for the betterment of his patients, Dr. Ghai attended Stony Brook University in New York to complete a General Practice Residency. It was during residency when he fell in love with the field of Endodontics. In 2020 he began his Endodontic Residency Program at Stony Brook University. Upon graduation, he decided to take his skills back to the province that raised him. He is looking forward to provide care to his patients at the highest level.

In his spare time, Dr. Ghai enjoys hiking, being out on the water, travelling to new places, and trying new foods.

Dr. Brueckner received his BSc. in Biology from the University of Winnipeg and his D.M.D. and BSc. in Dentistry from the University of Manitoba in 1992. He practiced general dentistry from 1992-2006 in Winnipeg . During that time Dr. Drew was also a part time clinical instructor and lecturer for the undergraduate endodontics program at the University of Manitoba.

Dr. Brueckner received his endodontic specialty certificate form the University of Southern California in 2008 and the American Association of Endodontics Educator Fellowship Award. He was the former Division Head in Endodontics at U of M from 2008-2010 and has been in private practice limited to endodontics in Winnipeg since 2010. Dr. Brueckner joined Greenwoods Dental Centres in February of 2021.

A passionate and dedicated person in the dental health and education of the younger generation, Dr. Hermann Lee has been practising orthodontics in Winnipeg for over 22 years. Dr. Lee holds an M.Sc Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin, and a DMD and MS (Orthodontics) from Washington University of St. Louis, USA. He also is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Manitoba. Dr. Lee believes in efficiency in treatment and is dedicated to minimizing treatment time for his patients. To achieve this he has chosen to use exclusively the Speed System Braces or Invisalign in the appropriate cases.

Dr. Ziad Baghdadi is a board certified specialist in Pediatric Dentistry, currently works as an associate Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Manitoba teaching both undergraduate and graduate students, and has a background in dentistry for children (from birth up to age 18) spanning over 25 years.

After obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery (University of Damascus 1992), Ziad completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Damascus in 1996, subsequently obtaining masters and PhD degrees in 1999, and 2002, respectively. He also holds master’s in public health from A. T. Still University, USA. He earned an additional Dental Specialty and Training Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from University of Manitoba and another PhD from the University of Saskatchewan, both in 2019. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Dr. Ziad is also an active member of the Canadian and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Manitoba Dental Association, and the Canadian Association of Public Dentistry, presenting lectures during their scientific meetings. During his free time, Dr. Ziad enjoys watching his 2 sons playing soccer, and travelling with his wife and sons.

Dr. Jessy Rayan, a dedicated dental professional, earned her degree from the University of Aleppo in Syria in 2013. Following her graduation, she pursued a Master`s Degree at the same institution, honing her skills in extractions, maxillofacial surgeries, crown and bridge procedures, root canal therapy, and the management of soft tissue lesions. Dr. Jessy`s commitment to excellence led her to Calgary, Alberta, where she successfully completed the Canadian equivalency program (NDEB) in 2018.

In 2019, Dr. Jessy and her family relocated to Manitoba, where she became an integral part of Greenwoods Dental & Surgical Centres. Driven by a genuine passion for dentistry, she brings a wealth of experience to her practice, particularly in cosmetic treatments and surgeries. Dr. Jessy is known for her unwavering dedication to providing patients with Life Changing Smiles, and she specializes in INVISALIGN Treatment, contributing to the overall enhancement of her patients` oral health and aesthetics.

Dr. Shahrooz Momeni, originally from Iran, earned his degree from the Medical University of Yazd in 2002 and dedicated two decades to general dentistry. In 2020, he achieved a remarkable milestone, scoring 11 A and A+ tasks out of 12 in the NDEB exam. Relocating to Canada in 2023, Dr. Momeni became a valued member of Greenwoods Dental Centres, contributing his extensive experience and commitment to excellence.

Outside his professional life, Dr. Momeni finds joy in outdoor activities, particularly hiking and camping, often enjoyed with his wife and two children. Dr. Amrit Dhindsa was born and raised in British Columbia and recently relocated to Manitoba. She graduated with her general dentistry degree with academic distinction in 2022 and currently holds licenses to practice in both Australia and Canada. This accomplishment is marked by an unyielding commitment to excellence in patient care.

Dr. Dhindsa enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is dedicated to her patients and has a passion for lifelong learning to stay at the forefront of modern dental advancements. She firmly believes that a beautiful smile is a gateway to overall health and wellbeing.

Dr. Kim is a graduate of the University of Manitoba where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science. He continued on to further his education by enrolling in the Faculty of Dentistry where he completed his DMD degree.

Before joining Greenwoods Dental Centre in March of 2014, he previously worked in private practice in Brandon, Manitoba and was also providing dental care in Northern communities on First Nations Reserves.

Dr. Kim takes pleasure in all aspects of the dental field, as well as getting to know his patients. When is not working he likes to enjoy his free time relaxing, watching sports, or you can find him on the court playing some late-night basketball with his friends. Dr. Kim is fluent in Korean and is accepting new patients and emergencies.

Dr. Majid Afrasiabifar graduated in 1995 from the Azad University of Medical Sciences located in Tehran, Iran. He has practiced dentistry in Iran for over 14 years, owning and operating his own dental office. He received his professional affiliation with the Iranian Medical Council during this time. In 2014, he received his MBA certificate accredited by Oxford University.

To advance his career, he moved to Canada in 2016 and cleared all NDEB equivalency exams in November 2019, receiving his license as a general dentist shortly after. Dr. Majid has a great passion for dentistry, with vast experience dealing with various dental aspects of dentistry such as root canal therapy, oral surgery, restoration, fixed and removable prosthesis, and pediatrics.

He enjoys the challenge of providing quality family dentistry in a comfortable and friendly environment. Dr. Majid is happy to help Greenwoods Dental with their patients in need of difficult extractions and wisdom teeth.

Dr. Oleksandr Ielisov is originally from Ukraine, where he graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv City in 2007. He worked as a general dentist over the next 8 years, where he improved and honed his skills in contemporary methods of treatment. In 2015, Dr. Ielisov (or Dr. Alex as we like to call him) immigrated to Canada to improve his professional skills to an international level. Although, he was not able to practice dentistry upon his arrival, he worked hard as a dental technician as he prepared for the NDEB (The National Dental Examining Board of Canada).

Beginning in 2018, he began taking courses in Toronto and was able to successfully complete and pass all the NDEB exams in 2020, demonstrating his incredible dedication to the profession. He has worked extremely hard the past years to achieve the goal of becoming a licensed dentist in Canada. Dr. Alex joined Greenwoods Dental Centre in January 2021. He is known to be a very kind and caring person, who is very detail oriented with all his work. He definitely has a true passion for dentistry as a craft and as a profession. Dr Alex is keen on constantly increasing his knowledge and skills through courses and seminars.

In his free time, Dr. Alex he loves to spend quality time with his wife and two children, exploring the different cities Canada has to offer. He also enjoys playing sports, running, street dancing and listening to modern music.

Dr. Sapozhnik received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Winnipeg and then travelled to Midwestern University in Illinois to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, he completed a one-year post-doctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of Texas, Houston. After residency, he returned to his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he has been practicing dentistry ever since.

Throughout his education he learned the importance of putting the patient first, delivering high-quality dental work and building long-lasting trustworthy relationships. He continually strives to be the best clinician he can and to learn the most critical and innovative dental services and technologies.

Dr. Sapozhnik’s main goal is to make you feel comfortable, listen to your needs and help you to achieve a happy, healthy and long-lasting smile. When he is not in the dental chair he enjoys sports, mixed martial arts, movies, eateries, travelling and spending time with his family. Dr. Rufus Abubaker graduated in 2014 from the renowned Dr. Tamil Nadu M.G.R Medical University located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (South India). He did his senior residency at the Government Stanley Medical College and Hospital, mostly catering to the lower socio-economic status of the population. There he gained valuable experience in extractions and managing maxillofacial trauma, along with crown and bridges, root canal therapy and managing soft tissue lesions.

After getting settled in Toronto, Ontario in 2015, Dr. Rufus started and successfully completed the Canadian equivalency program (NDEB) in 2018. He made the move to rural Manitoba, where he worked in private practice in for a year prior to joining Greenwoods Dental & Surgical.

Dr. Rufus has a great passion for dentistry, lots of interest in endodontics, cosmetic dentistry and surgery. He enjoys fabricating crowns and bridges for patients to provide great function and esthetics.

He also loves travelling and exploring new places, and especially trying out the local cuisines that every city has to offer.

Dr Saurabh Saini graduated in 2012 from Government Dental College, Patiala, India and has worked in a private dental practice for 7 years. After that he migrated to Canada. He cleared NDEB equivalency exams in November 2021. He worked in clinics in Calgary, then moved to Manitoba. He is a compassionate and dedicated dentist committed to providing patients with a comfortable experience, adept in pain management and providing patients with guidance on preventive oral hygiene.

Over the years, he has taken many continuing education courses and constantly strives to hone his craft so that he can deliver the highest quality care and results. In his free time he loves to spend time with family, travel and explore outdoors.

Dr. Spencer Mann was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2022, he earned his Dental Surgery degree and holds dual certifications to practice in both Australia and Canada. With a strong commitment to clinical practice and academia, Dr. Mann strives to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and patient care.

Dr. Mann is a caring and compassionate practitioner who is committed to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for every client. Dr. Vipul Prajapati pursued his Bachelors in Dentistry in 2011 from Government Dental College in the city of Ahmedabad, India, where he had been a scholar and ranked first in the institute. Since graduation, he has been practicing dentistry in India for over four years. He worked in community health centers as well to serve low socio-economic communities.

To advance his career, he moved to Canada in 2017. He cleared all NDEB equivalency exams in November 2019 and received a license as a general dentist. He worked in a clinic in Brampton, Ontario before he decided to move to Winnipeg. He has joined Greenwoods Dental Centres in July 2020, and is excited to serve Manitobans as a dentist.

Dr. Prajapati is very passionate about dentistry, believing in evidence-based dentistry. Throughout his years of journey as a dentist, he has gained vast experience in various aspects of dentistry and has a zest for learning something new every day. Dr. D. K. Mittal is the sole owner of Greenwoods Dental and Surgical Centres. He founded Greenwoods Dental and Surgical Centre on 693 McPhillips St, Winnipeg in 2004 and then successfully established many other locations in Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Ontario.

He graduated in 1995 from the Prestigious Punjabi University, India and achieved Canadian accreditation in 1999 after taking advanced restorative courses from University of Western Ontario and successfully challenging the NDEB examinations. He then practiced clinical dentistry for Health Canada for 5 years in Northern Communities. Dr. D. K. Mittal has since then been practicing clinical dentistry in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.

He has been actively involved in upgrading to newer and advanced techniques in Laser Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Intravenous Conscious Sedation, Sinus Augmentation, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Root Canals and many more. In his spare time, he likes to work out in the gym and loves playing the harmonica.

Mr. Nolan R. Boucher, B.A (hons.), LL.B. is a distinguished member of our Legal Support team, serving as the In-House Counsel with a rich background in various fields of law. Born in Vancouver, B.C., and raised in Winnipeg, M.B., Nolan`s journey in the legal domain began with his graduation from the University of Manitoba in 2004, where he not only earned a B.A. Hons. in Psychology but also distinguished himself by making it to the Dean`s List. His academic excellence continued at the U of M`s Law School (Robson Hall), where he graduated in the class of 2007. At law school, Nolan was a recipient of the Indigenous Law Medal and co-winner of a Negotiations Challenge, showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication early in his career.

Following his graduation, Nolan completed his articles at Gindin Wolson Simmonds LLP (now Gindin Wolson Simmonds Roitenberg) in 2008, laying the groundwork for a successful legal career. In 2009, he joined Brodsky and Company LLP (now Brodsky Amy & Gould LLP), where he served as an Associate Criminal Lawyer. His private practice specialized in criminal defense law, immigration law, and property forfeiture law, with Nolan appearing at all levels of court in Manitoba, including the Provincial Court of M.B., the M.B. Court of King’s Bench, and the M.B. Court of Appeal. After a distinguished career and semi-retirement in January 2022, Nolan embarked on a new chapter in 2024, joining Greenwood Dental Centres as In-House Legal Counsel. In this role, he specializes in contract law, dispute resolution, civil litigation, corporate/commercial law, and business law, bringing his extensive experience and legal acumen to the forefront of our organization`s legal strategy.

Adedayo is a seasoned lawyer with over 15 years of experience in legal research, advocacy, dispute resolution, and business advisory, among other areas. He excels in analytical thinking, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, effectively building partnerships across diverse groups. Adedayo is certified in information privacy (CIPP/C) and has a certificate in Legal Research & Writing from the Canadian Center for Professional Legal Education. He is affiliated with notable organizations such as the International Bar Association and the Nigerian Bar Association, and is currently pursuing accreditation through the NCA to practice law in Canada. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, swimming, and traveling.
